Executive Director

Island Housing Trust (IHT) is seeking a visionary and strategic Executive Director to lead our nonprofit in creating year-round housing affordable to Mount Desert Island’s workforce. The ED oversees all aspects of nonprofit management, including development, governance, external relations, and strategic growth. In partnership with the Board, the ED will set the organization's vision, manage a skilled team, and advance IHT’s mission of building a sustainable, year-round community. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary and benefits, including health insurance and a retirement contribution.
